Washington DC Jazz Fest 2025
During this summer of 2025, I had the opportunity to participate in an internship for the Washington DC Jazz festival. My experience was unforgettable, and I was fortunate to make many connections through music, and was able to play a role in bringing this wonderful festival to life. These photographs include some highlights of the internship, as well as marketing content from the festival.

I visited the destruction site of the Black Lives Matter Plaza memorial on March 11, 2025. While at the destruction site, I was able to have an insightful conversation with activist, and street artist Nadine Seiler (photographed holding her protest sign) about the destruction of the plaza memorial, and the Trump administration's Project 2025

23rd Annual Martha's Vineyard African American Film Festival
I had the opportunity to spend the week volunteering, and attending various panel events, and film screenings at the 23rd Annual African American Film Festival in Martha's Vineyard. My experience at the festival was unforgettable, and I extremely am grateful for the opportunity to have made so many special connections and photograph some of these significant moments.

Charelston, South Carolina March 3, 2025
This past March of 2025, I took a trip dedicated to serving underrepresented elementary school students in Charelston, South Carolina. I had the opportunity to serve as a team lead on this service trip as part of Howard Unviersity's Alternative Spring Break Program. This was my third experience serving with Howard University on Alternative Spring Break.

Roberta Flack Tribute Show June 27, 2025
I had the opportunity to attend a tribute show to the great Roberta Flack at the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Washington DC. Members of the band included Roberta Flack's late husband Steve Novosel on the upright bass, Manny Kellog on drums, David Cole on electric guitar and vocals, and Linda harris as the lead vocalist. The tribute show was a part of Westminster Church's Jazz Night in DC series.

Harris-Trump Election Coverage October 5-6, 2024
During the election day, I was tasked with photography coverage for the Howard University News Service on Howards campus, the alma mater of election candidate, Kamala Harris. I the opportunity to do photojournalism at a Trump supporter watch party at "Dirty Water" bar in Washington DC on the night of 11/5/24, and see Kamala Harris deliver her concession speech on Howard's campus.
